This report presents the economics of Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP) from phosphate rock, phosphoric acid, and soda ash in the United States, via a typical calcination process. In the process examined, phosphate rock is mixed with soda ash and sent to grinding and pelletization. Phosphoric acid is added and the product is calcinated, producing TCP.
